Yacht surveys and valuations

Buying a yacht, insuring one or dealing with damage, you need a surveyor who looks at the whole boat and puts it in writing. IME surveys new and used yachts before purchase, for condition and value, and after damage, with a sea trial where it is needed, and gives you a report your insurer and your bank can use.

Service

When you need it

  1. 01

    You are buying a yacht

A pre-purchase survey tells you what you are buying before you sign: what works, what needs repair and what it may cost you.

  2. 02

Your insurer or your bank asks for a survey

A condition and valuation survey gives them the yacht's condition and its estimated market value.

  3. 03

    The yacht has been damaged

A damage survey records what happened to her and what the repair involves, for you and your insurer.
