Accounting authority, Inmarsat activation and LRIT
Bright North Corp. is a radio accounting authority: it receives a vessel's communications charges from coast stations and providers and consolidates them into one monthly invoice, in one currency. It also activates and deactivates Inmarsat terminals as a Point of Service Activation, and coordinates LRIT conformance tests with Fulcrum.

When you need it
- 01
The vessel is registered
The radio licence needs a letter from the vessel's accounting authority, so the registration is not complete without one.
- 02
A terminal is installed, moved or replaced
The Inmarsat terminal has to be activated or deactivated.
- 03
The vessel changes flag or equipment, or the year runs out
The LRIT conformance test is required at new registration, change of flag, installation or replacement of equipment, and every year.

Inmarsat activation
As a Point of Service Activation (PSA), Bright North activates and deactivates Inmarsat terminals and manages the terminal status and service requirements of the vessel.

LRIT conformance test
With Fulcrum, as its distributor: test administration, terminal commissioning, communications over the satellite network, decommissioning after the test, results and the Conformance Test Report when it is required.
